I am Janeen Warman coach & founder of Human Hound Harmony. With my clients residing in different parts of the world, I have a high success rate with remote coaching.
I strongy believe that long term help should be accessible & affordable, it was this in mind that I created the hub.It gives me the opportunity to be there for more people without long waiting times.
I have always lived alongside sight hounds & lurchers & have rehabilitated many street dogs. I currently live on the West Sussex Coast with my amazing adult children, my cheeky whippet & a soppy Romanian rescue. I am a qualified dog trainer with a trauma informed practice. I am a well being mentor for humans too & it's my passion to help you both succeed. As someone who has CPTSD, I have turned my sensitivity into a superpower, I work from a relationship based foundation that encourages co-regulation, listening & communication. I am certified & a member of The Internation Institute Of Canine Ethics, I am also a member of the UK Behaviour Charter.
My speciality is helping you & your dog both overcome & manage any form of misunderstanding, trauma, diversity & anxiety. I teach you to teach your dog & help you understand each other. Above all I can help you feel confident & give you the courage to enjoy a harmonious bond.
The following statements are values at the heart of human hound harmony:
Sensitivity is your superpower: Learn how to use it in communication between
you & your dog.
Where your posture goes energy flows: Learn how your body language can communicate gently & subtly, in turn changing how your dog relates to you.
Self awareness is your key to success: Learn how to individualise & understand
your dog.
Movement & pre-emption awareness : Learn how to help your dog overcome fear by being aware & using the tools I teach to respond to situations rather than react.
The world is huge: Help your dog feel less overwhelmed by our urbanised environment & all of the noises that come with it.
The desire we share above all else: Is to feel safe, learn about things you can do to promote feelings of safety.
The Dog's Diagnosis: Your dog is your best therapist, we can use the information they give us to help with your own self care & well being.
